Shifter-transmission part # 68091341aa broke. Therefore I could not back the car out of my garage abd had to have the car towed to the dealer. He said part is not a recalled item for my car, but it is for lots of other cars like mine, but it was not built in a defective plant!. I got charged $269.01 plus about $100 for towing costs. I also got charged another $15 for two visor clips. This is the third time they have failed.

2005 Chrysler 300C w/ 5.7L while driving @ approx 35mph, vehicle would drop out of gear as if in neutral, check eng light came on, setting P700 & P701 plus egr prob. If car was steered to safe area and turned off then re-started, prob would momentarily resolve itself becoming intermittent @ various speeds or atmospheric conditions. R&R of egr assembly and cleaning, then clearing of codes seems to have resolved the prob. Problem started on Oct 16, 2010, repair performed on October 19, 2010 and has not returned. This could become an issue w/ other vehicles of same make & model, due to P701 is stating problem w/ transmission module.
