When you spend $40k on a car with a Hemi engine you really expect it to last at least at a bare minimum of 100k so to have to replace a motor at 95k is very disappointing. I guess I will have to stop buying domestic and go with the imports because an engine today should last at least 150k -200k so to have to replace a motor before 100k is ridiculous and shameful! When I spoke with the Dealership about a warranty since this just happened to me at 74k when it was still under warranty. Funny thing is that it's a different cylinder so there isn't a warranty however when they originally told me that it was the same cylinder they told me that the warranty was only 12 months 12,000 miles and yet when I looked at my paperwork it clearly stated 3 years 100,000 miles. This isn't the first time that the Dealership has lied or disappointed me. When we contacted Chrysler they were going to get back to me the next day or Monday at the latest....it's been weeks!! Each time someone is going to get back to me the next day.

2006 CAR HAS 84,000 MILES ON IT. DROVE CAR AROUNF FOR 30 MIN TODAY. STOPPED AT HOME FOR 5 MIN, STARTED CAR BACK UP, HEARD A HORRIBLE SOUND, CAR WAS SHAKING AND SHUT OFF. CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN UNLESS HITTING GAS PEDAL. RAN VERY ROUGH. CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN AFTER. HAD CAR TOWED TO FIRSTONE. VALVE/CYLINDER # 5 DROPPED AND ENGINE IS SCREWED! REPLACE, REBUILED OR JUNK CAR. THIS CAR HAS ALREADY HAD ELECTRICAL ISSUES, ALL GAUGES ON DASH COME ONE FOR NO REASION, TRANS REBUILT AT 68,000, GAS TANK ISSUES - FLODDING ENGINE BECAUSE OF FLOAT IN TANK MALFUNCTION. THIS CAR IS A POS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A CHRYSLER JEEP OR DODGE, NEVER. CHRSYER IS DOING NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CRAPPY GAS TANKS, YEAH FIX THEM FOR FREE AND THEN THEY STILL MANFUCTION. ALSO THEY ARE DOING NOTHING ABOUT THEIR CRAPPY MANUFACTURING OF THEIR ENGINE HEADS. IM JUST DONE. THERE ARE THINGS THAT HAVE BROKEN ON THIS CAR THAT SHOULD BREAK AT 200,000 MILES, NOT BARELY 85,000. JOKE. DONE.
