The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was confirmed that the fuel vapor canister had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the issue. The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300-C. the contact stated after filling the vehicle with gasoline, the vehicle would stall repeatedly until the fuel level indicator moved off the full mark.. the dealer stated the failure was due to a vent valve sensor inside the fuel tank that was causing the problem. The dealer stated the fuel tank would need to be replaced as well as the char coal canister. The failure mileage was 30,000 and the current mileage was 70,000. Updated 03/30/11
