300C AWD 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 92,000 miles

A/C blowing hot, added 2 cans of freon ( $20), drivers side blew cold, passenger side blowing warm..within 2 days I heard a hissing sound from inside car, freon gone ,back to being slapped in the face with hot air! Took to shop recharged A/C($90.00) checked with dye, no leaks under hood...blowing ICE cold both driver and passenger side. ..3 days later back to HOT air... was told by mechanic to find a A/C specialist because leak must be in dashboard..seems like no one wants to get involved... and to get to condenser the bumper has to be taken off.. one shop I called gave me a estimate of $800-$1,200...and could be higher? Since he hasn't even seen what the problem could be.. just put a new engine in last year, thought I could drive to florida, round trip abut 2,000 miles.. can't do that with no A/C...I DON'T FULLY TRUST THIS CAR!

300C 5.6L

  • Automatic transmission

Bought it used with an extended warranty against my better judgment, of course these parts are not covered. I was told by the scum bag sales man that it covers everything. But I live in Arizona so A/C is a must.
