loud clacking sound when engine kicks over

I have a 2007 Silver Chrysler 300c hemi. I got it at 26,000 miles and have had it for 5 years with no problems except for the gear shifter getting stuck in park which cost me $300 to fix. I now have 87,000 miles on it and noticed it leaking anti-freeze just above the oil filter. I take it to Prestige Chrysler in Las Vegas and they replace the gaskets in the water pump and timing chain cover. They also replace the thermostat and radiator cap. That was a month ago. The car is running like a top until I'm driving home last week from work, approximately 16 miles, and stop at the store. I come out and try to start the car and it won't crank over. After several more attempts it does and there is a loud clacking noise. I check the oil. OK. I look under the engine. No oil. OK. No noise and no engine warning lights. I tow it to Chrysler the next day. Diagnosis: I NEED A NEW ENGINE!!! $10,000!!! They take me in the back and the mechanic sticks a probe in the #4 cylinder to show me the piston, rings and side of the cylinder is FRIED!!. You got to be kidding me! ALL OF A SUDDEN I NEED A NEW ENGINE!! I will sell this lemon as soon as it is repaired and get me anything except a Chrysler!!
