THIS MY SECOND TIME HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY A/C
THE FIRST TIME THE COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED, AND NOW IT'S
WAS TOLD TO ME TO BE THE A/C CONDENSER.
THAT'S ANNOYING TO KEEP GOING OUT LIKE THAT.

i have had the car since 2000. exc car but the ac went out when it was 100 degrees outside. brought it in to sts priced it at over $1700 dollars. fixed. haven't had a problem yet. car now has 146k miles on still strong. light tick in the high end of the engine. its a rocker arm wearing but its not a major problem. it can be fixed in excess of $1000 usd but i recommend getting it checked.

Defective evaporator coils in the cars. Mechanics said was problem with the coils and Chrysler refused to fix because the cost of repairing it was not profitable - required 8 hours of labor due to the placement of the evaporator coil. That was the first thing to go. It went downhill from there. The car hit 100K miles and just fell apart. Required 5K worth of work the past 2 years with various sensors, water pump, thermostats, belts, suspension problems.. . you name it.. it went out. The car sucks. Got rid of it and got a Ford Escape.

The A/C started blowing hot air. The evaporator had developed a leak. This car has low mileage and only 3.5 years young. It is almost impossible to believe that Chrysler can build an evaporator that will not last several years. I have been interested in the new 300 out in 05, but no more.

ok i buy a car with a/c to have a/c and its hot as hell out and i have no a/c. not trying to fix it cause i have problem after problem with the car. i better save the money for an issue that may cause the car not to drive at all in a few days.
