In 2001 we purchased a used 2000 Chrysler 300M, but traded it in for a new 2002 Chrysler 300M as we were experiencing electrical issues with the 2001. Hoping that we just purchased a "bad egg" in the 2001 Chrysler, we were extremely disappointed when we began experiencing the same type of electrical issues with our brand new 2002 Chrysler 300M within months of purchase. Every time we took it back to the dealer to complain, they always said that they "couldn't recreate" the problem, so they couldn't fix it! We experienced issues with the interior & exterior lights flashing on an off, the electric windows intermittently not working, the electric seats sometimes working and other times not. I don't know how many times we had the motor in the seats and/or windows replaced during the warranty period, and we still continue to have issues.

I don't really know when the problem first occurred, but the interior and exterior lights start flashing off and on. I have taken it in to the dealership several times. I was told that they can't tell what is wrong if it doesn't happen while at the dealership. I have a problem with the brakes and they can't find the brake problem either. Now the check engine light is on but guess what they don't know why. I have always loved Chrysler cars, but this will be my last.

electrical short in the engine after engine sensor was replaced
I had some minor issues ( I was told) with my car. I had the alternator replaced and an engine sensor replaced. I had still experienced intermentent flashing of lights and a tire pressure warning and no one could find what was wrong with the car. On my way to work today the car caught on fire. It did not overheat. The fire department say that it looks like mechanical failure but I have not received the official report yet to say exactly what it was. This car was very well taken care of by me and was up to date on all basic services, but no one could find out what was wrong with my electrical which leads me to believe that this was the cause of the fire. I will update with the fire department report as soon as I get it, but if any of you are having this issue please be safe and listen to your gut that something is wrong. I am very thankful that I did and Im alive today.
