Consumer paid for a theft deterrent system which was made by the manufacturer. Vehicle was broken into. Consumer contacted the dealer, who informed consumer that unless the door was pried opened the alarm system will not go off. The thieves broke the glass to gain entry and the vehicle was saturated with water because of the rain.
