problem #3

Nov 032003

Cirrus 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 154,321 miles
The vehicle's radio, power locks, power mirrors, dome light, brake lights and windshield wipers not functional due to a electrical wiring problem. Mechanic also stated circuit board burnt out. When all these problems occur, the vehicle will not up shift out of first gear and speedometer instrument panel not working (speedometer, odometer and gear lights). Replaced transmission computer and neutral safety switch ($600) and problem still not fixed. I have read complaints about similar problems, does this happen to be common or even a recall?
