Cirrus 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150,000 miles

remove airbag according to shop manual procedures (legal) and inspect the horn contact plate. Mine had deteriorated plastic insulators that caused it to ground out and activate the horn

Cirrus LXI 2.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 134,000 miles

I got back from Afghanistan and after i got my yearly inspection the horn just started to get a mind of its own. For now I pulled the relay. I really need to get this fixed. I do all the repairs on my own and have never had a problem till now. I cannot figure it out. Being the year and mileage i do not want to spend a boat load of money if i can do it myself. please let me know what to do. A little help would be great.
