Well as I can tell this is a wide spread problem the rack and pinion, bushings and steering gear failure and tie rod ends. My concord has had a clunk grinding sound for sometime in the steering and now the car is beginning to not turn when I turn the steering wheel. Not every one has a $1000 to $2000 to get this fixed what will it take to get Chrysler to fix the problem a school bus full of children getting hit buy one of the many Chrysler cars with the same steering problem on the road. Please help before someone gets killed if not already.

We purchased this car new. It has always had alignment problems which were reported to the dealership. We finally decided to live with the problem because we got tired of no service. In Oct of 2000 we had both inner tie rod ends and the left outer tie rod end replaced. The rack assembly was never addressed in this repair. As stated earlier we have complained about the steering. I have seen many complaints on your web site for the same problems. Will people have to be injured before Chrysler accepts responsibility for their poor design.

Since we bought this vehicle we have had problems with the steering. I am on the fourth power steering pump. The inner tie rod end where about to fall out all of a sudden when my wife was driving which could have caused a bad accident. The steering started hanging up here lately and the shop found the rack and pinion bad. Now you can't tell me that there is not a problem with the front end on this car! last week the dipstick broke off in the tub. This is the second time this happens. The first time the car was still under warrant and they replaced it. These items should not be going out on a car no older than this car is. I reported this to Chrysler and they don't seem to care or stand behind their product. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I am having to spend a lot of money and am inconvienced. This is not fair to the consumer.
