In April 2005 owner put key in the ignition switch and it got stuck.the key would get stuck more and more often, then wouldn't turn at all. The key would get stuck in the ignition, allowing the car to be left with the key in it. Once the key was stuck in the ignition for weeks, and had to be repaired by a locksmith. The locksmitih advised consumer that this was a common problem with these type of cars. It was a 1999 Chrysler Concorde. The problem returned becuase the key sometimes getting stuck. Owner could not turn the key over.if consumer fiddled with the key it will turn over. Dealership advised consumer that the pin inside the ignition interlock broke off and then it wont work anymore. The ignition switch was eventually recalled 04V021000, but dealership advised that it was not related to this problem with the ignition.
