Engine light came on and immediately brought car to dealership. When I returned they indicated the computer reason for the engine light was due to a part in the transmission but that after they reset and took the car for a test drive, the light failed to come back on, and so they thought it might have just been a computer glitch. Within 5 minutes of leaving dealership, the light came back on. So I returned the vehicle and they said it would take several days to fix because the part was on back order. Ended up taking 6 business days, and within 5 minutes of picking vehicle up, the transmission locked up while going 100 km on the highway! Reason for failure was attributed to the same part (now the new part) failing yet again! Crux of the story, is that transmission failed again at around 165,000 km., details of which to be included under separate submission.
