This problem was AWFUL! After many letters & thousands of phone calls to Chrysler. I went to my local Dealer, Phillips Chrysler in Ocala Fl. They took pictures & contact Chrysler themselves to back up my complaint. I left, & 24hrs later received a call from them that they would repair the back window. In doing so, they had to replace the whole convertible top! Thank God for this dealer in following up on my complaint! The cost to me was NOTHING! I read numerous reports from others that had the same problem. This is definitely a DEFECT on Chrysler!
I'm just so happy that my problem was resolved with the help from Phillips Chrysler in Ocala Fl. Oh & I didn't buy the car from them, I bought it in MI.

Yesterday morning as I was backing out of my drive, I noticed the rear window had come unglued and was hanging in my convertible top! Looks like a very bad design problem as it was only glued in! No pocket, no sewing, only glue. I searched online and found many have had this same problem. Some stated that Chrysler had a recall for their model and had repaired it free of charge. I felt hope and called the 800# to Chrysler but was told there were no recalls on my car and there was nothing they could do to help me. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

The rear window began to come unattached from the convertible top and is now only held at the top allowing exhaust gas and rain to enter the car. There is no repair other than replacing the entire top at a cost of $1700 to $2000. I have been told that Chrysler issued a service bulletin on this problem beginning with the 2005 model year and offered a ten year 100,000 mile free repair but this has not been extended to the later models which are having the same problem.
The top is in excellent condition and it is not reasonable to have a problem of this nature other than a manufacturing defect. The dealer offers no assistance in contacting Chrysler to get assistance on this matter.

This is an ongoing issue with Crossfire Convertible tops. Chrysler repaired 2005 vehicles at no cost to owners and even extended warranty timing/ mileage.
This is a significant issue that can cause serious injury / death of occupant or others, if window flies out.
They should take care of this issue.
