Intrepid EX 2.7L

I have a 2004 intrepid very low milages 43800 and it is making knocking noise in the engine it is pissing me off tell me what is the problem. How much would it cost to fix it. I change the oil to a higher grade, change the mid grade gas and it is sill making noises. please help me.
