Bushing worn out causing the steering to be loose and resulting in tire wear. Nlm

Steering noise when turning wheel left to right, bushings are bad and rack and pinion needs replaceing according to mechanic said such wear is unusually for car with such low miles - dealer, maker aware of problem said it will not do anything unless a recall is forced on them - lose of steering is a safety issue
