Fan was frozen and would not turn. Radiator overheated badly. Mechanic suggested at Dodge we should change it out too. All parts from Chrysler! We had to pay for all of it.

When I went to have the problem with the coolant (leaking?) fixed to stop it overheating. I got the car back from the shop with no a/c anymore, just heat. If I idle too long, the car still overheats sometimes. A small crack in the engine block might be the source of this problem, but that would be insane to fix on such a poorly made vehicle!

fan cut out overheated, cracked the engine block
have the cruiser since new. always had problems with the cooling system. fan always cut in and out, so we replaced it. brand new fan worked good for a couple months. then stopped working. didnt notice it. kept running and running. then finally boom, overheated and cracked and warped the cylinders and the head. had to have block replaced for 2500 dollars. had to take out an emergency loan with the army. plus the thing leaks oil now like its its day job. never buying a chrysler product ever again.
