Actually the real issue here is that because the engine compartment is so narrow that there is no hand room. So when the timing chain broke the only way to get to it to replace it was to lift motor almost out of car at angle so you could get to everything . And because of this it is best/wise to just replace water pump and belts in that general area so you do not have to lift the engine out again to have the room to replace things. Having to replace the other things is what jacked up the extra time & cost of repairs.
