PT Cruiser Limited Edition 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 127,000 miles

My Transmission won't shift out of second. It happened about three years ago with less than 50,000 m. The dealership replaced the module? I drove it two days and back to the shop for a sensor? SURE! Two costs with one transmission. Now it is happening again at 130,000 miles. Just broke in good right? I am the only one who has ever driven this car. I have serviced it regularly and now I am stranded. Nobody will touch the transmission but the dealership?

PT Cruiser

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

I was unable to shift out of low gear and the dealership was less than helpful in diagnosing it and then it was very expensive... my car is low mileage and I don't abuse it at all. I believe this was something that should not have happened!
