First clutch I have ever had that failed before 100,000 miles

On a trip, I the clutch started slipping and so I had the clutch replaced in Arizona last year. Now slipping again after 10,000 miles. I live in CA, 400 miles from last repair site. Need to get rid of this crappy American car (was good except for the bad clutch).
