The contact owns a 2005 PT CRUISER turbo convertible. The contact stated that the vehicle caught fire, while the vehicle was turned off. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The fire department filed a report and diagnosed that the seat heater ignited the fire. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure and current mileage was 65,000. The VIN was unavailable.
