I've had this problem for all of the 2 years that I've owned the car. It starts fine, then the engine goes up and down and up and down. Dies sometimes. Check engine light comes on sometime. Dealers in Oregon and Colorado have worked on it repeatedly. No solution. They replace a few parts (never the same) and it works better for a few months and then starts all over again. It happens more often when it's not been started for a few days.
