the engine and electrical components just shuts down

I was driving this morning to work and in traffic and all of a sudden the engine & ignition just completely shut down in the process of driving with no warning, no engine light or other warning light. The car would not start or even give a little movement with the engine - it was frozen. I had to get it towed and the mechanic did tests on the car and their was nothing wrong with the batteries or engine - he found it to be possibly computer related & electrical. This car is just shutting down in the process of moving and this is VERY DANGEROUS and I am afraid to drive this car and might possibly get into an accident. Chrysler is responsible for this and they need to fix it for free or give me a new car. We pay too much for these cars for us not to be able to enjoy for at least ten years ...their design and work on this car is causing these computers & engines to malfunction. Again, this is very dangerous and I might get into an accident next time.

Update from Feb 11, 2015: Got the estimate back from the Chrysler Dealership today 2/11/2015, and they say it is as a start a Lost Communication with the TIPM (Total Intergrated Power Module) but they claim this is not the solution just something they can get started on and the estimate to work on this will be $1,149.27 and then they will go from there. Overall it is just a Computer malfunction just like the other Mechanic said but they say they can't work it only the Dealership because they don't have the means to fix it. I WILL NOT PAY THIS....This is clearly Chrysler's bad technology that is indeed a SAFETY DEFECT. You see the dealership is beating around the bush and trying to get me to pay all this money even though they admit this might not fix it...they are playing games and they know others have had this same situation and Chrysler is responsible but don't want to fix our cars & don't want a recall. The Dealerships are corrupt & greedy thieves and liars and Chrysler Corp. is behind it all! I need my car but I cannot drive this car because it is very dangerous. I also contacted Chrysler Corp. today and they claim my warranty is expired so they will do nothing...I told them that they are responsible because this is THEIR FAULTY creation and it is beyond a Warranty situation. These cars need to be recalled immediately. I paid for my Car in full already but Chrysler has not given me a car that is sufficient for the money - they enjoy my money but as much as these cars cost I should at least enjoy this car for at least Ten years and I can no longer drive it now.
