The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler PT CRUISER. The contact was attempting to park at relatively low speeds. The brakes were applied but would not respond and the contact crashed into a garbage bin. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 36,600 and the current mileage was approximately 37,000. Updated 11/16/10 the dealer was unable to find a problem. Updated 11/23/10
