On 3/3 my car shut off going 60 MPH on the Highway and re-started. It happened again on 3/4 on my way to the dealership to get it fixed.
After over a week, they could not find anything wrong with the car. So, I picked it up on 3/17 and on 3/18 it lost power at a light. I took it in for service and they said there were still no codes and nothing was wrong.
I took it to another dealership on 3/21 and they had it for 4 days and could not get any codes, could not get it to duplicate and found nothing wrong.
Today was my first day driving it to work and the radio just shut off and on and although it didn't turn off going 60 mph I felt it jolt.
This is beyond frustrating. I just want this fixed! I'm afraid to drive this car!

After my 2007 PT Cruiser with low mileage runs for around 15 to 30 minutes, all my warning lights will flip on and needles will drop like it died but then go off and stay running, then continually repeat this and eventually stalls and dies. A few times while driving down the highway looking for a place to get off at high speeds, which scares the piss out of me. I've had several things done to fix the problem but nothing has worked and mechanics can't figure it out. I've always been Mopar man but now I'm done. I'm switching to Ford because Chrysler is aware of this problem and won't recall this piece of sh*t model.

The car stalls out while driving for no apparent reason. The alternator was replaced at my cost even though it was not a true diagnosis. Problem continues. I heard from a customer at the repair shop that she owned a 2000 Plymouth Van. It had the same problem. They had a recall on it and a lawsuit. It turned out to be an issue between the ignition and the motor somewhere she didn't know exactly what. She traded the van in since it couldn't be fixed before she received the recall for the fix. She felt it was too dangerous to drive.
I am wondering if this could be related in the Chrysler. Has anyone heard of this as I'm afraid it's the same situation since no one can find out what's causing it to stall. Thanks for any advice.
