The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler PT CRUISER. The contact stated that while driving over a bump, the rear drivers side window fell down into the door panel. The contact was unable to bring the window back up once it fell down into the door panel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the window regulator motor was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure occurred a second time two years later. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 17,271 and the current mileage is 18,000. Updated 01/03/12 updated 01/04/12

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler PT CRUISER. The contact was traveling 70 mph when the rear passenger side quarter glass window came out. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and found there was a recall on the 2005-2006 model year, but not on his model year, even though the vehicle was manufactured in 2006. The recall campaign number was 07V149000 and it was for visibility, because the rear quarter glass window can come loose from the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired.
