Seems that many PT Crusiers out there are put aside due to broken A/Cs. The car is not worth the cost of repairing the A/C. In my situation, I have a 2008 PT Cruiser that I have taken really good care of but the A/C isn't working. I have 59,500 miles on it now and unable to use it because in Louisiana it is almost tropical weather. In addition, I have a nerve disorder that requires me to be at 66 degrees or my skin and body starts feeling like I'm on fire. I am driving the car right now because a mechanic put freon in it and it usually last approx. 3 weeks but this time it is lasting longer. In the past year and a half I have had freon put in it every 3 to 4 weeks at the cost of $40.00 per refill. It is really sickening because the car still is in good condition.
