The lift gate on the pt cruiser does not have a separate key. It should open when the regular key fob is pressed

twice. It will not do that. Therefore we are not able to open the lift gate. I do not know if there is a manual override switch or not. No, it does not affect the operation of the vehicle but it is very annoying when you need the space to use.

I am hoping there is someone who can tell me how to get it opened.
