HERE I had a catalytic converter put on 1st and it still wasn't reading wrong, this is what the dealer said was wrong. Then went somewhere else and he replace the fuel pump. So a small auto repair shop fixed it. But I'm back with the same problem, gas drop from full to empty in a couple of miles, gives you I will say 50 miles so what do I do, stop and try to put gas in but it won't take anymore. So who has the time and money or to keep playing the guessing game with their gas gauge, not me.
So would like to know if there is a recall on this problem! Cause I LOVE my car and it is paid for but if I have to keep putting more money in it at the pump or at the shop then I might need to trade it in for something !

when my car falls to half tank of gas it will just drop down to empty. I replaced the fuel pump on the passenger side which is the transfer pump and still does it. It will continuously shut off the gas pump while filling which I thought was a vent problem but blew the vent hose out and still does the same damn thing. Not sure what to do now.

The car will just go from half of a tank to E. My husband and son were stranded, because when they left the house it was at a half and then dropped all the way down to E, car stopped. This is very dangerous and I am very upset. We have taken the car back to the car lot at least 5 times, the fuel pump was replaced x 2, then they changed the fuel sensor. The car has never stopped dropping down to E. This is very frustrating, Chrysler should recall these cars.
