Pacifica 3.5L V6

When you back up or go forward, and turn the wheel, there is a snapping noise THAT IS VERY ANNOYING. Dealer replaced the front drive shafts but did nothing for the noise. They left it at, It's just a characteristic of the AWD. I find that hard to believe. If any one else has experienced this, please let me know. Thanks
