The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated the gauges on the instrument panel failed to operate intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic, who diagnosed that the electrical system failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 110,000 and the current mileage was 123,000. Updated 10/7/14 updated 3/11/2014

I have had multiple problems with this vehicle since its purchase date. 1/12/05- initially vehicle stalled while driving ~10 mph after slight right curve. No problem found. 6/9/05- the 2nd time it occurred was on a hill, coming to a stop to turn right. No problem found. 7/22/05- during left turn at an intersection, straightening wheel to right stalled. After speaking with Chrysler technician, fuel tank believed to have problem, replaced fuel pump. 2/27/06- stalled again- no problem found 9/26/06- sensor failure occurred on ABS and traction control. 12/12/06- vehicle lost all front lights in dash and wipers. -replaced body control computer. 1/16/07 vehicle stalled while driving on state route at 45 mph- no problem found.

Since of October of 2005 my Chrysler Pacifica 2005 touring has stalled numerous times. One particular incident I remember is when I was make a permissible U-turn and the vehicle stalled. Fortunately for me there was not on-coming traffic and I placed the vehicle in park and restarted the ignition. The stall issues complete power failure in the vehicle. The engine is very loud at low speeds and idles. Currently the fuel gauge is reading incorrectly. According to epa estimates miles on a tank is 393 miles, the gauge reads 301-312. Also, the vehicle around November started to experience difficult cold starts. Initially I attributed that to cold weather, however the problem has become persistent. The was an accident in January 2006 with my wife at the wheel but I has yet to be determined if it was due to vehicular or driver error. While I am not a professional auto mechanic or ase certified, my opinion is that this is an issue with the vehicles intake and possibly a misfire of the pistons.
