I bought a 2005 Pacifica in 2017 for $3500. Put about 22,000 miles on it over 2 years. Just yesterday driving home from work, the car wouldn't accelerate, check engine light flashing, thumping/ticking/knocking sound coming from the engine. Took it to the mechanic today and found out it would need a new engine. According to the specialist, the engine had a blockage of coolant and overheated. On the temperature gauge, it was exactly half way between hot and cold (Normal operating). I had recently changed the thermostat due to it sticking open not even 2,000 miles ago. Chrysler makes some of the junkiest cars I have ever seen. Don't get a pacifica :(
