Every now and then the gas pedal sticks when first touching it to push down or go, direction doesn't matter. Sometimes it is harder to get pushed down then others.

When I first bought my Pacifica, I loved it. About a yr into owning it, I noticed that the gas pedal started sticking. Sometimes slightly, other times downright difficult. Numerous times I've had to mash down on it to get it to move. I thought that the mat might have gotten up under it but that was not the case. I have tried to lubricate the joint with graphite powder which helped for a short time but then it goes back to sticking again. It seems to be worse in the Summer. According to an online post, the only fix is to take apart part of the motor and mess with the throttle cable. I really can't afford the expense so I put up with it but it can definitely be a pain, especially when trying to merge with traffic.

The gas pedal sticks to where I have to stomp my foot down really hard on the gas to even get the pedal to go down. When I have to do that, the car obviously speeds up very fast. I took it to the dealership where they "fixed" it, charged me money, and then it was broken again 2 months later.
