Bought the car in 2007 had 23000 est. miles on it...couple years later had problems pumping gas..Took it to Chrylser was not under warranty..Spent 6 hundred and some fixing the problem...worked for awhile..same problem ... took it back to Chrylser and complained..They took off couple hundred and I paid over 400 getting it fixed again...Winter time gets cold when it takes almost 10 minutes to pump 20 in fuel...and then sometimes don't take 20 cause gas gauge drops to half and then you think you got gas it drops all way to empty...so never know..Got to know my car pretty good so know how far I can go before run out of gas but have ran out a couple times, luckily once in driveway and not so lucky on the highway...some guy said they had a pacifica with same problem but told me it was a vacuum between tanks...The guy was at the gas station and noticed my pump kept clicking off and I held it almost to the top of the gas tank hole...So I don't know ... can't afford to take back to dealership and fix again..So I will never buy another pacifica again..I loved this one but would not be on my highest priority..I put 2600 into it, put new radiator in and a lot of other things which I have receipts for...I should of just traded it off but got it paid off almost and did not want to give way in dept again on a vehicle at that period of time...but like I said I loved my pacifica...learned my lesson the hard way...Don't fall for your vehicle...:)..and I still have the problem and did complain to Chrysler about it...

So I can't go two days without having to stop and fill up as much as I can because it takes me 20 minutes to put $20 of gas on a busy day several times. And in the winter it's not cool to be frizzing my butt off trying to fill my tank. The nozzle stops every second I'm pumping. When I do get $20 in the tank, I get in and it says it's full, shorty after running it goes to half, then to empty. I have four kids and have to drive around with a 5gallon can of gasoline in my car in case I run out, out of nowhere.

The car stalls constantly. I have had the car in the mechanics 5 times, with 3 different excellent mechanics, and they cannot find the problem!
We had a mechanic ride around with us for 30 minutes and it WOULD NOT stall!!! After he got out and we were going down the road, it stalled!!! I've even had a Chrysler mechanic take it completely apart and put it back together, and he couldn't find anything. The computer comes up with "O2 sensor" but that didn't fix it.
At one time I saw where Chrysler had recalled the 2005 because of a faulty fuel regulator module, but they said my Vin# didn't come up, even though the description fit perfectly. They offered no help or advice from a mechanic. I'm terrified one day I'm going to cause a terrible accident, and am afraid to transport my grandkids around in it! I will not trade or sell it until this problem can be solved because I am afraid it would kill someone who was not aware or familiar with how to drive it. I have spent around $2000 trying this and that, but the mechanics just scratch their heads!

I'm an owner of a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, there are numerous problems pertaining to my car. It all started on December 2013, while I was coming home from work, the car stopped out of no where. It was a tedious thing because here I was stranded in the road with a car who has given me Hell, and I couldn't do anything but call a tow truck. That's money spent. In the worst way.
I had to take the car to my friend who is a mechanic. LUCKILY. He said it was the cars fuel pump that was badly damaged. So once again I spent more money and replaced the fuel pump. We all have to spend money on our cars once in a while, but this was NOT just a once or even twice thing. In fact I bought ANOTHER one and it finally worked. Or so I thought. Three weeks in the car stops again. So I went back to the mechanic and luckily I had warranty, so he replaced the pump with an even newer one. No refurbished, just plain new. Again it worked great. BUT for only 4 weeks! Once again the pump failed on me...AGAIN.
At this point the mechanic said its not the pump, and said he can't do anything for me. Here I am in a horrible predicament. Leave the car and have no transportation, or try again. At this point I went to another mechanic and replaced the fuel pump, yet again. This time it reached almost a month, and now the pump is failing on me AGAIN. I've had enough! I called the Chrysler/ my Dealer and we found out it was a recall. Now I went to the Dealership and to my dismays they said the recall was fixed in 2006! At this point, what am I supposed to do? With no car or transportation.

I took the car to Chrysler's repair shop. They would like to charge me $700.,00 to replace the whole fuel assembly. This includes the fuel pump/sensor, the fuel tank and everything that supports the fuel system. If this is a known problem, it should be replaced by Chrysler.

I will put gas in it and next thing I know you hear ding ding ding and watch my gauge go from full to empty.
