OK so we are on the highway 70 miles per hour my husband is driving daughters in the back all the sudden it sounds and feels like a bomb hit the car. my husband managed to get to the side of the road. I don't know if I had been driving if I'd be strong enough to control the car, it was so scary thankfully we weren't hurt. the strut came through the hood of the car. We replaced the strut about 6 months later the other strut popped up through. when I encountered an unavoidable pot hole I wasn't going very fast so it was not as dramatic as the previous eruption but nevertheless still suprizing. So we have 2 gaping holes in the hood one is partially hidden by a sticker the other is still pretty ugly. We haven't replaced the hood yet because it's aluminum cha ching.

I've taken the car in for service several times the problem still exists I've spoken to the service manager to no avail.

I just bought this car 1 month ago and it's been in the shop 2 times. First problem was fixed (started hard in the morning only) with little cost/problem, but this clunking sound is going to be ongoing, I can see. They did say they had to tighten some bolts, but that did little to nothing to fix the problem. So far I LOVE the look of this car, but am not happy with the "problems" it seems to have!

I had to take my truck back to the dealer 3 times before the problem was found. First my tie rods were so bad that they were almost gone, they fixed them and the noise was still there, I went back and they replaced the sway bar bushing but, noise was still there, when I took it back again they replaced the control arms and finally fixed the problem.

I have heard this noise. I thought it was my shocks. Never in my life did I know a part was missing in my steering.
