The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. While driving approximately 55 mph on normal road conditions; there was a loud noise outside of the vehicle. The wheel disengaged from the vehicle. The vehicle skidded and proceeded to a complete stop. The driver was able to pull over to the side of the road with caution. Roadside assistance was called to the scene. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The failure was contributed to the broken wheel studs. Vehicle has not been repaired for the malfunction. The failure and current mileages were 69,000.
