I purchased my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica from CarMax in 2008. It had 26,000 miles on it and was like new. Within the 30 day CarMax warranty I had the brake pedal inspected because it would stick when trying to accelerate. The CarMax tech stated "all vehicle gas pedals stick a little", "there isn't anything abnormal with your pedal". I've never had this issue with previous vehicles and his response was simply ignorant. This clearly is not normal but I've dealt with it anyway. In 2012 I brought the vehicle to a Chrysler dealership to have the oil changed and have the check engine light looked into. At this time I also asked them the check the gas pedal. Again, they didn't find anything wrong with the pedal. Now 2015, I took my car to Costco for tire service and the tech told me I needed to have the gas pedal looked into because it sticks. HMMMM... WTH? I notice there isn't any mention of this issue in the recall section or maybe I'm not looking in the right forum? If anyone has this problem too, please let me know!
