: the contact stated two days after purchasing the vehicle a percussion noise was noticed coming from the rear windows. The rear windows were down at the time of the noise. The vehicle was taken to the service dealer who suggested one of the front windows be placed in an open position along with rear to reduce noise. The noise is present at all times, but is more severe at speeds above 30 mph. Contact claimed it was a design defect. Updated 06/01/2006.
