The gear shift went out on Mother's Day at a night out! It took 6 hours to get a tow truck !! This part is also of the same year 2006, 2005 plus Dodge Rams 300 Chrysler, which they deny also. If my wife an kids were out to a ballgame, went up to 8th street, and this part broke and I was out of town, think about that Chrysler? If they were mugged, raped, beaten, it would be a problem that would not go away. So stop making crap car parts that should not break to begin with (give me my $ back Amelia Ohio a/j). Thank you.

Pacifica Touring 4.0L V6

Did research online and found that this is a common problem with this model car and others with the same gear shift, it has been recalled on the other model cars with this gear shift but not the pacifica. My father also owns an 07 pacifica and had the same thing happen to his a year before. Come out to the car one morning and you can not put the car into gear. We took the whole middle console apart to find a pink button (referred to as a pink thingy online) spring has broken and would not let the car go into gear. There was many ways to fix this issue without going to the dealership but it seems like if this is an issue with this many cars it should be recalled.
