This defect of the engine cradle rot has rendered my vehicle useless and undriveable. This is a known problem to Chrysler, yet, they have intentionally refused to do anything about it and have not issued a full recall for all vehicle owners in every state. This is a potential dangerous defect, which can present life threatening risks, such as death or injury to persons or property. Two different mechanics diagnosed my vehicle and refused to work on the vehicle, the latter, stating, "it would cost more to fix the car, than what the car is worth."

Chrysler should cover the cost to fix and fully be covered by the manufacturer, or they should replace or offer settlement. Similar issues of this vehicle were recalled in particular states, but not all states and I am requesting that this 2007 Pacifica be recalled immediately. This cradle engine rot is a known safety defect with nothing being done to protect the lives, safety and property of pedestrians and motorists with the potential of the engine falling out.

Families are transporting their children in these manufacturer known defective vehicles. Recalls are issued because the vehicle does not conform to Federal Standards. NHTSA defines a safety defect as "a problem that exists in a motor vehicle or item of motor vehicle equipment that poses an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety and may exist in a group of vehicles of the same design or manufacturer." Chrysler is refusing to repair or replace these vehicles, that could possibly result in injury or death.
