The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the three fuel pumps would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Six months later, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 42,500 and the current mileage was 61,000.
