We took the van in because the air conditioning didn't work. They told my wife that she hit something that knocked the one shutter piece into the a/c condenser. All the freon leaked out of the hole in the condenser and that it will need a condenser, active grill shutters and possibly an a/c condenser. Here's my problem-it doesn't need a bumper?! or the grill that is in front of the active shutters?! So what went through the grill without damaging it or the bumper, but only broke the one shutter piece and knocked it into the a/c condenser? $2300.00 to fix it and I should make an insurance claim? I talked to friends of ours that own a Pacifica also, they said every time they pull into the driveway the bumper scrapes and breaks the shutters out. Our bumper scrapes coming into and out of our driveway, too. Are they right? If they are, that's some really poor engineering. Our last Town and Country never scraped pulling into any out of the driveway! Not to mention breaking something that costs $2300 every time to fix it! Anybody else have this same problem?
