Bought a BEAUTIFUL Pacifica Touring L Plus. Has all the things I want and need for my family, only to find out that there is a engine, powertrain, transmission issue where the vehicle hesitates, lunges and loses power during acceleration, it then shifts absolutely hard.
I had done research on this vehicle, checked carfax on the VIN, looked for all recalls and was unable to find any issues that were left unrepaired. It was not until after I bought the van that a "suggested" article on a class action lawsuit made it to my google feed. It was very frightening to find out that the 2017-2021 Pacificas have a MAJOR engine, power train, and transmission issue. The fact that the outcomes and recalls for this particular issue is not something readily found for consumers is very scary when you are looking for the right vehicle that offers safety for your family.
I wish I knew how to get this problem repaired. To know that I have to pay the same amount to fix something for a new to me vehicle after I just paid in full for it. Please be careful when purchasing a Pacifica of these years.
