This is my SECOND Chrysler Pacifica. I drive, a lot- so when I was approaching the end of the warranty due to mileage on my first Pacifica, I traded it in for another one (stupid me) because I was afraid the transmission would go after the warranty. Everything was fine with my second one, up until I had the transmission software updated due to the safety recall. I have had NOTHING but problems.
Roller gears on both doors have been replaced, the right rear door twice. The door CLOSED on my son, good thing he's 10, because if it were my younger child, she'd be seriously injured or dead. The lift gate motor was replaced too. The exterior trim is getting rust spots, despite being garaged.
So, now for the big problem. It stalls out while accelerating, usually while I'm turning, but it can be very random. It shifts super hard and lunges forward. The dealer cannot replicate this problem. I've even been told it might be my driving style. In 20 years, my driving style has never caused a vehicle to stall out- not even driving a stick was my driving style THAT bad. My kids are afraid to ride in this car and it's only a matter of time before somebody gets killed.
