At low speeds the transmission makes a large BANG. From what it seems it is when it is going from 1st to 2nd.

Horrible loud clunking sounds. Shifting poorly, under extended warranty, but began before 10,000 miles. Chrysler immediately flew out to listen to my car and REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION. After that, 10,000 miles later, new transmission started clunking just like the other one. NOW they say, uh no it just makes that sounds. Tried to blame my "driving habits" when I touched the gas to show them how it clunks on a test drive.
No, I don't drive like that, it ALWAYS makes a clunking sound.
They now say the van just makes that sound. I paid 50,000 for a clunking Pacifica. There's got to be a recall soon. At arbitration it sounded like Chrysler had no clue why they defended the sound, I blew them away on cross examination, yet they still won.
We need a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT to recall this vehicle and make Chrysler pay for the mistake.

Transmission is getting noisier as miles pass. The dealer will see it 01/29/18 for this and a door repair.

THE SHIFTING CLUNKING NOISE HAPPEN OR STARTED AROUND 2YRS AGO AND WOULD HAPPEN QUITE OFTEN.WENT TO THE DODGE DEALER AROUND 70,000 MILES TO ASK THEM ABOUT IT THEY SAID THE DRIVE TRAIN WARRENTY HAD CHANGED FROM 80,000- I THINK IT WAS FROM 80,000 TO 60,000.WE RECENTLY DROVE AROUND 500 MILES MEMORIAL DAY AND CLUNKING SHIFTING INCREASED DRAMATICLY.WE BOUGHT THE PACIFICA IN 2018 WITH AROUND 35 OR 36,000 THE NOISE STARTED ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER,IT HAS TO A MANUFACTURERS DEFICIT WITH OUT DOUGHT.I AM ON MY WAY TO THE DEALER FOR THE SECOUND TIME AND THEN FOR THE THIRD TIME
