sliding door corrosion

Another Chrysler Pacifica (2018) aluminum part corrosion "victim." Current (Oct 2023) issue is corrosion on lower edge of driver side sliding door. 5-year warranty expired July 31, 2023 - 5 days after local dealer body shop repaired (covered by Chrysler) for the SECOND TIME the similar corrosion on hood. Oct 23, 2023, I took the van to the same local dealer's body shop. They said Chrysler would not address the problem because of warranty expiration. After much urging by me, the body shop rep took photos and said he would submit to Chrysler - Stellantis NV. Body shop rep indicated "response would take a while and to expect a denial (based upon his experience with other Pacifica owners) raising this same issue." I expect the rejection, but want to "go on record" as joining other Pacifica owners raising the issue to Chrysler. Being a reasonable person, I would work with Chrysler to resolve the issue with some kind of financial support from me. Hah!

SOME BACKGROUND: I had "Web-researched" this corrosion issue starting after my first "hood replacement/repair issue" (2 years after purchase) I have also found and continue to find Pacifica owners living in the southern MN area with the same corrosion issues. For 3 years I had specifically washed and waxed the hood and sliding door edges. To no avail. PS: my research also discovered Ford has had some aluminum part corrosion issues. Funny how my 2018 Kia has no such issue!
