2019 Chrysler Pacifica was at the dealership in December 2023 for secondary battery issues once again tied to the On/Off issues. Everything was inspected and no other issues reported. In June 2024 the check engine light comes on and the vehicle starts have engine issues. It was indicating Code P0306 which is a cylinder 6 misfire and the gentlemen that helped said it can be caused by a spark plug, etc. Schedule an appointment to take it in and it barely makes it there. Engine was really struggling. I then get the following message from the dealership (see photos for screenshots): "Customer Express Maintenance Concern: CUSTOMER STATES VEHICLE HAS P0306 LIGHT COMING ON PLEASE ADVISE. - Engine Rebuild/Replace: I went to pull the vehicle into the ship and it would not start. I scanned the vehicle module and found code p0306 cylinder 6 misfire. Inspected and found the coolant level low. This is a very common issue with this vehicle. There is a small crack in the coolant jacket in the engine block, and coolant will seep into the affected cylinder causing a misfire. If enough coolant leaks out it will hydro lock the engine, which is the current state of the vehicle right now. The recommended repair is to replace the engine block. This is the entire process needed to either rebuild or replace the vehicle's engine. This is a process needed when the vehicle's engine is in need of serious repair. $11,930 - (Option to "Add Service" or "Not Today")"

That is it. No call. No nothing from the dealership. I immediately call and the guy said that he meant to call about something big. I definitely gave him an earful about just paying off the vehicle in full and also it was in for service a few months earlier with no indication of issues. He said I had every right to be upset and that it is happening on these 2019 Pacifica's around the country. He proceeded to state that his best mechanic chased his tail for weeks on another Pacifica with the same issue some time before and that a Chrysler guy even from HQ came out to assist. It wasn't until they researched other locations across the country that they saw these pinhole leak issues in the 6th cylinder. He said it is happening a ton and as the message I received indicates from them "it is a very common issue." He tried to act like he was helping me by pretending that he was only giving me a phone number to call for assistance in helping to potentially pay for the repair.

This all occurred on 13 June 2024 and I finally was just told that they can only knock off $2,500. I told them that this was unacceptable. I definitely would like to check into a Class Action Lawsuit based on what I have heard from my local guy. He indicated that this definitely seems to be heading that way. I won't post his information here, but I do have additional details for anyone that is interested. Looking for help and / or advice on how to proceed or if anyone else has experienced what we have. There are also 8 Chrysler Pacifica's sitting at my local shop up there. Not sure if for this exact issue, but mine has been sitting up there for nearly 2 months with many of them.
