On Wednesday, 7/19, I was stopped at a red light on a busy road in Gastonia, NC (South New Hope Road and Titman Road). When the light turned green, and I put my foot on the gas, the car stalled and shut off. Upon pressing the ignition button, it would not start again. For several weeks, the car would stall at a red light, but would always turn back on by pressing the ignition button. There were NO warning messages whatsoever. I had to cross a busy road to get to the sidewalk to get out of danger. The car was in the left turn lane, stopped with hazards on. My husband had to come, turn our other car around so he could attempt to charge the battery. When he charged the battery, the car started. I had to, again, cross the busy road to get back to my van and go home. We changed the car's two batteries, and it has not happened again so far. Upon reading several Chrysler Pacifica forums, apparently when the battery gets low (it was at 30% when this happened), the auto start shuts off and does not work since there is not enough power left in the battery.

My wife got in the vehicle after shopping and tried to start the vehicle. She said all displays were dark or blank and no instrument cluster lights, no indication on the touch screen. She said she tried several times to start the vehicle and same thing happened. She stated that after waiting a considerable time she tried calling me about the problem but I didn-??t answer. She then tried one more time to start the vehicle and this time everything came up normally. When she got home I checked the vehicle for malfunctions and found none. Thus far the problem has not recurred. This happened about 2 weeks ago, around the 8th or 9th of June 2023. I decided to fill this out because if she had been traveling on the Interstate Highway at high speed this could have ended very badly.

The affected component is the backup camera and warning system. The malfunction happens in a loop around every 3 minutes. My safety and that of others is put at risk when the backup and rear collision warning fails to function and negates backward motion visibility to the driver by such failure. There are no warning lamps currently or any notification of any failure in the car. I have taken the car to the dealership and they have found no issues.

Driving on the Highway with my entire family of 6 people (with 2 young kids) and my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 2019 suddenly stops. When I press the accelerator the vehicle doesn't respond. When I shut it off, wait for a couple of minutes and turn it on again, it gives an error saying service charging system. I had to shut it down on the highway and get it towed to the nearest dealer. I see several customer complaints with the same issue. Last month I took it for service at Chrysler dealership and they did service with 20 point inspection and no one identified or mentioned anything wrong with the vehicle.

When I left work tonight, my backup camera got stuck on my screen. I couldn't clear it off. It stayed on even while driving. I had no access to the UConnect system at all. The radio power button wouldn't even work. I tried turning the car off an back on. The problem continued. Once I finally got home, I turned the car off for about 30 minutes and restarted it. The problem was then resolved. I'm worried it will happen again though. After researching, I saw that there were reports of this happening a few years ago, but apparently my VIN was not included in that recall.

I read that there is on ongoing investigation related to the 2019-2021 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid (Investigation# PE-22-008). I read the ODI Resume, and would like to report the exact same issue with my Pacifica. I was traveling at about 40 MPH on a four lane highway in February of 2022 when I suddenly lost all motive power. The dashboard reported a charging system error. I was able to get the car to the side of the road (though I was lucky to be able to do so) and it had to be towed to the Chrysler dealership (Deery Brothers Chrysler, 651 Hwy 1 W, Iowa City, IA 52246, 319-600-6890). They replaced a part in the charging system and it briefly ran, and then failed (thus the dealer has also reproduced the problem). It has now been at the dealership since then waiting for Chrysler to figure out the problem. Apparently Chrysler has sent an engineer to Deery as well, so there may be some confirmation from the manufacturer.

Our van completely stalled while driving. It just shut off while we were driving twice today. This is the first event to happen like this. We could have been in a serious wreck as we had just exited the interstate both times. "Start/stop unavailable" and "service shifter" warnings appeared.

The car keeps running even after the ignition is turned off emitting poisonous carbon monoxide in the garage and into the home. This is a safety hazard to my kids and family. And similar issue has been reported by many Pacifica Chrysler customers and the company is ignoring them all. The car keeps starting the engine every two to three minutes and consuming all the gas and there is no way for me to turn this off. Ideally my engine is off and it should not run but the car engine starts automatically.

Recently I had occasion to look at the front hood of the car which my wife drives. I noticed that the paint had bubbled in three areas. I contacted Stellantis and was told since the car had more than 36,000 miles there was nothing they would do to help. While going thru a car wash the passenger sliding door opened while the vehicle was moving causing the door to hit a post in the car wash and be ripped off the van. The rear passenger window was busted out from the van door sliding hinge. I checked online and found accounts of similar van owners complaining that the sliding rear doors only open when the vehicle is stopped and in Park. In my case the van was moving, the door had been locked, and the vehicle transmission was in neutral in order for the car wash track to move it thru the car wash.

The uconnect navigation system that controls the back up camera to car, the controls for the air conditioning/heat, and all the settings of the car is faulty and causes a short circuit. I have researched that a lot of consumers have problems with the chrysler pacifica uconnect system and they report similar issues. when you go to the car dealer they want to charge you 650 for a new one.

monitor screen with all the cars information goes blank every 3-4 minutes then restarts and navigation goes out and radio and all climate control function quit working until the system restarts which causes driver distraction and is safety issue for me. My vehicle at 28, k plus miles I noticed it seemed to slip. This would happen intermittently. I thought I was imagining it at first. Then it started to do a more violent jerking. The dealership did a reset. It started doing it a week later, and intermittently. I was also in the dealership because I was hearing a clunking noise in the rear when driving over uneven pavement, or backing out of my driveway. I have been waiting two months for rear struts to fix the issue. Vehicle sounds getting progressively worse and I'm concerned about driving. Today the rear struts wear promised to arrive. I was just told they will arrive Sept 10, 2021. Three days ago, an alert symbol popped onto my dash screen -a yellow circle with an A inside followed by an exclamation mark. I am bringing my vehicle in on August 30, 2021. The dealer said I need to have the battery charged!" They are also going to reset the transmission slipping program, again. Are other 2019 vehicles having the same issues"

When braking, the brakes will fail to engage and pumping the brakes is required to stop. When the brake is depressed at a light, the brakes will release, causing the car to start forward without pressing the gas pedal. The brake booster in ABS system is defective and on national back order. No recalls in place, but driving safety is severely compromised.

Car subject to recall for malfunctioning rear camera (ve-2 is code) during repair, touchscreen rendered inoperable. Now, camera doesn't work at all, most controls require use of touch screen which no longer works. Car had no issue before recall, no no backup camera and repairs are expected to take at least 6 weeks due to claimed lack of parts.

When driving and I press on the brakes there is a 'air ' sound and it does not brake right away. If I'm in a bit of a hill and I have the brakes pressed it will give out and start rolling back and I have to press it all the way in which makes an ugly sound and it stops after a bit. If I have to suddenly stop to not hit a child and I press on the brakes it will still go on for a while. I took it to get brakes checked and was told the brakes are good, almost new. I have four kids and this is extremely scary. I need help this has been going on for about 2 weeks. What could possibly be wrong?

A vehicle fire may increase the risk of injury to occupants and persons outside of the vehicle, as well as property damage per the safety recall letter I received from Chrysler. 12-volt isolator post connection safety issue. No remedy is currently available.

The radio does not hold any presets after you change drivers. So when driver one(1) has the seat, mirrors, radio, etc set for them all they have to do is press "1" when they get in, and "2" is presently set. It should hold so we don't have to go through it every time you get in.this is not what happens, I have to reset things because it is lost and goes back to factory settings. Chrysler knows about this problem and they have no fix. I would like my computer system replaced to fix this problem. They said I have to wait for an update, this is not something I should have to live with.
