The sliding doors and the trunk door opened at the same time when no door/trunk open buttons were pressed. This is the 2nd time it happened. First time in the Chrysler showroom and 2nd at a parking lot, both time when the car was not in motion. The car was started, reverse gear was applied and all the sliding and trunk doors opened at the same time with passengers inside.

Large leak in the left rear of the vehicle. Water came in from a currently unknown area and ran into all the crevices between the inside panels on the left side. Settled into the cubbies on the left side. And soaked the carpet in the back. Only owned the vehicle for 10 days when this happened. A large rain storm came through on Saturday water; noticed the water Sunday morning. Did some driving around Saturday during the rain storm but did not notice the water. Not sure if the water was coming in during the driving or after being parked. It was raining all day and night.

The contact owns a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the sensors for both passenger side sliding doors failed to function properly. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact reached into the vehicle to retrieve her phone while the sliding doors were closing. The door sensors did not recognize her hand and it was crushed by the sliding door. The contact had to manually force the door open to rescue her hand from the vehicle. Medical attention was not received. The contact tested both sliding doors and found that neither of the door sensors functioned correctly. The contact was concerned for her and her children's safety. The contact posted a complaint on facebook regarding the failure. A Chrysler representative online reached out to her and asked for her VIN, but no further assistance was offered since that interaction. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

Lane sense behaves erratically in certain circumstances; alerts loudly and request hands be placed on the steering wheel when they are already on the wheel and am traveling safely within a lane; no lane changes. Has alerted in driveway as well and alerted for service. Took to dealer and they could not replicated or determine problem. They provided informational flyer on lane sense but it does not match reported conditions/alerts I received on auto's console. Consistently fails and behaves erratically going northbound on golden gate bridge - in all lanes and on multiple occurrences. Occurs in various environmental conditions from fog, clear day, rain, etc. Occurs in motion and when car has been still/stopped (in driveway.) system alerts and then automatically deactivates itself. I don't know that manufacturer and dealers have full understanding of behavior; especially the detection of what the car believes are no hands on the steering wheel/feedback torque.

First day we purchased the vehicle, the engine light went on and the hybrid battery needed to be replaced. Two weeks later the vehicle kept stalling, and eventually came to a complete stop. Four weeks of purchase, our car begans stalling again and our engine light is back on. Tech says "the car fixed itself". the engine light is back on again.

Pacifica hybrid, two incidents: First was on freeway, fast lane, driving normally with active cruise control. The car suddenly shut down all acceleration and slowed. I was able to press the brake and stop. The front console lit up with many warnings including the frontal collision warnings. I was not close to car in front of me but a motorcycle had split lane passed me very closely and cut in. I had to power off my car and start it twice before it would go forward. I took car for service, Chrysler dealer found nothing wrong, replaced a computer module, gave it back. Less than one week later, the car again suddenly lost acceleration and braked. Same large set of warnings appeared. But this time the car didn't allow me to press the brakes. I was traveling on city streets less than 30 mph but had lost all acceleration and braking control of the vehicle and continued to roll into an intersection at about 7mph. The brake pedal literally pushed back against my foot. I gave it back to Chrysler dealership where it's been ever since. Car has 1100 miles on it purchased July 14th, registration on 7/16. Approximately 300 miles of the car was the dealership service department trying to replicate the issue. Now Chrysler corporate cares is telling me it's still under diagnosis (car hasn't even been turned on in more than 10 days) and that the only way I would get resolution is through arbitration "a free service". my vehicle is currently waiting for Chrysler star (highest level engineering) to even get to the case. I wanted to report the safety issue with the resolution steps for people to follow but unfortunately I can't. Chrysler might even try to give this vehicle back to me again (which I don't want). Note: Dealership has been very stand-up. The problem is Chrysler corporate.

The hands-free and bluetooth feature of my radio stopped working 3 months ago. I have been in to Chrysler service in fort collins five times to have it fixed. The last time was two weeks ago and they said they were going to just order a new radio. I still haven't heard anything from them. The service manager, bob lee, says it's Chrysler's fault. I just want this thing fixed. 3 months is just ridiculous. This is as much a safety problem as it is an inconvenience.

A serious safety issue exists with electric sliding and raise/lower tail gate doors. This is my third Chrysler pacific, 2014, 2017, and now 2019. On this 2019, it does have one door, the driver side slider, that has a warning buzzer if left open when the vehicle drive is engaged, and only when the vehicle attempts to move in reverse. That warning does not exist if the vehicle is driven forward and it does not exist at all for the passenger side slider. So many times, we inadvertently and unknowingly drive off with sliders open and/or tail gate open. This is a serious design flaw with the danger of items unknowingly falling out while traveling. It is possible that children or animals could fall out. The vehicle should never be able to be driven if either slider is open. Nor should the car be able to be driven with the tail gate door open. While there could be an occasion with the customer might intentionally need to have the tail door open to accommodate and over-length item, there should be a by-pass switch with a continuously lit warning light on the dash. To combat driving with the tailgate door open, we have placed several narrow vertical strips of take on the back window to alert the driver. Without that tape it is almost impossible for the driver to be aware of the open tailgate. This is extremely dangerous and annoying. Typically, if the close button is pressed to lower the tail gate door or the sliders to, if the door encounters some object as it is closing, it will retract to the fully open position without the drivers knowledge. This should be totally unacceptable.
