Pacifica Hybrid Touring L 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 74,521 miles

This has happened to me three times and each time the dealership says my car is fixed only for it to happen again a few months later.

1. Driving in 5 lanes of traffic on a California interstate doing 70+ MPH and my vehicle just shut down! I had to put on my flashers and try to make my way over 4 lanes to get to the shoulder just in neutral. This was so dangerous. Ended up have to rent a car and leave my vehicle at a dealership for 2 weeks.

2. Driving on a curvy mountain road with no shoulder and my vehicle shuts down again. I was lucky enough to have it coast to a large enough spot that I could wait a couple minutes and the restart the vehicle. It took me about 6 shut downs and restarts to finally get to the nearest town.

3. I'm driving on an interstate highway in Utah doing 65 MPH when my vehicle shuts down stranding me 35 miles from the nearest town where there is no cell phone service. My vehicle made a horrible grinding sounds and then just shut my vehicle off only giving me a warning to pull over because vehicle will shut off. It would not start after that and I had to wait in almost 90 degree heat with 4 kids and 1 dog on the side of the road with no one stopping to help. When we did finally get a tow truck there we were in a town with no rental car service and then had to have it towed again to a dealership 40 miles away. I have now been without a vehicle for 3 weeks+.

I AM FURIOUS because the dealership knew about this problems before I bought this vehicle and never mentioned anything about this problem.
